The start of September is always one of my favourite times of year. There is a tingle in the air, the season is changing. The beginning of autumn with all its spectacular colours and cosy clothing brings me joy.
It is also Open Studios time in the North East of Scotland. Months and months of painting, varnishing and framing are now hanging on walls in studios all over the north east. Talking painting and techniques with people visiting the studio is such a lovely thing to do. I feel very privileged to have the space and time to create in such a wonderful part of the country. I look forward to welcoming visitors to my wee studio.
